Lauren Mae Shafer

Lauren Mae Shafer is a talented actress from Michigan. She needed a website that would reflect her level of professionalism and boost her SEO. She also wanted to be able to maintain the site herself and update it with both photos and video clips from movie trailers and commericlals.

Drupal Gardens was the perfect solution! Both affordable and easy to maintain, we we able to get a new site for her up and running in no time, and in only about 5 billable hours!

Tampa Bay Drupal User Group Theme

on May 16, 2012 - 7:51pm

The Tampa Bay Drupal Users Group is a group for Drupal enthusiasts who enjoy getting together the first Thursday of each month at 6pm to talk about Drupal, plan Drupal events, and have some fun. During TBDUG meetings we showcase modules, projects, and themes.

When I moved to St. Petersburg, Florida, I joined TBDUG and found out they were in dire need of a new theme on their website. Since I was learning all about the Omega theme and why responsive design is important, I chose Omega as the base

The Globe at War

on November 8, 2011 - 10:05pm

The Globe at War welcomes those interested in military history and international affairs. The client wanted a site that was easier to maintain than his existing site, which was built using CoffeeCup proprietary web design software. Drupal Gardens to the rescue! The client had previous experience with managing a Drupal 6 site, so learning to navigate the Drupal 7 interface within Gardens was a breeze. The updated user interface and restructured admin menus make it easier to not only add pages, but also photo galleries, live feeds from military news sites, and webforms for visitors to submit their own articles and reviews.

Kettering Soccer kicks off a new website!

on September 10, 2011 - 9:24pm

Waterford Kettering High School has an extremely active soccer program. With 4 teams total, plus parents, they needed a website to help them stay organized. The site is hosted on Drupal Gardens, which makes it easy for the coach, Jon Cadwallader, to add and update content. Parents can contribute photos, and students can comment on stories or sign up to receive email updates. Since the site is for both the boys and girls soccer programs, it needed to have a fun and active look, but still be gender-neutral. As a fun touch though, the silhouette of the male and female soccer players at the top will change as you move into either the boys' or girls' sections of the site.

Carolyn's Paintings Website on Drupal Gardens

Carolyn's Paintings

Carolyn Kinnison is a local artist from Howell, MI, who specializes in mixed media art and illustration. She needed a website she could easily manage, to both sell and display her many works of art.   Drupal Gardens allows her to add images to photo galleries and update the site with upcoming shows. Users can actually purchase artwork directly from the site via a simple e-commerce tool called Cashie.

The site theme features original artwork by Carolyn.

on April 9, 2011 - 1:38pm
Mr. Joybox Express

Mr. B's Joybox Express is a non-profit on a tight budget, and so Drupal Gardens was the perfect place to build and host this site. Cashie was used as the e-commerce tool to allow users to add items from the store into their shopping cart, and then purchase those items via PayPal.

Web Design & Drupal Theming for Switchback

on March 20, 2011 - 8:50pm

I have expanded my knowledge of Drupal, CSS, and CiviCRM as I helped Switchback CMS design, build, and/or theme many Drupal-based websites. If you need a custom design, or just need help applying a design to a website, I can help!

Tax Information Reporting Drupal Theme

on March 8, 2011 - 1:32pm
Tax Information Reporting

Although this web site was a great place for people to sign up for tax information reporting advice, and get the latest news from the IRS, it was in need of a facelift. The old site had all the needed functionality, but it was pretty lackluster when it came to design and aesthetics.
The client had a general mockup of what he wanted, and I took it from there. I added a bit more color to the design, and polished it up a bit. The result is quite a dramatic difference!

Camp Live, Laugh, Love Drupal Website

on December 29, 2010 - 9:57pm
Camp Live, Laugh, Love home page

The Children's Bereavement Network is a non-profit organization that sponsors Camp Live, Laugh, Love for children grieving the death of a significant loved one in their life. Because they are a non-profit, they had a limited budget from a grant to work with.

The board members needed a site that they could update themselves, to make sure that information was readily available for kids who wanted to attend camp.
