The Globe at War

The Globe at War welcomes those interested in military history and international affairs. The client wanted a site that was easier to maintain than his existing site, which was built using CoffeeCup proprietary web design software. Drupal Gardens to the rescue! The client had previous experience with managing a Drupal 6 site, so learning to navigate the Drupal 7 interface within Gardens was a breeze. The updated user interface and restructured admin menus make it easier to not only add pages, but also photo galleries, live feeds from military news sites, and webforms for visitors to submit their own articles and reviews.

Kettering Soccer kicks off a new website!

on September 10, 2011 - 9:24pm

Waterford Kettering High School has an extremely active soccer program. With 4 teams total, plus parents, they needed a website to help them stay organized. The site is hosted on Drupal Gardens, which makes it easy for the coach, Jon Cadwallader, to add and update content. Parents can contribute photos, and students can comment on stories or sign up to receive email updates. Since the site is for both the boys and girls soccer programs, it needed to have a fun and active look, but still be gender-neutral. As a fun touch though, the silhouette of the male and female soccer players at the top will change as you move into either the boys' or girls' sections of the site.

Carolyn's Paintings Website on Drupal Gardens

Carolyn's Paintings

Carolyn Kinnison is a local artist from Howell, MI, who specializes in mixed media art and illustration. She needed a website she could easily manage, to both sell and display her many works of art.   Drupal Gardens allows her to add images to photo galleries and update the site with upcoming shows. Users can actually purchase artwork directly from the site via a simple e-commerce tool called Cashie.

The site theme features original artwork by Carolyn.
